National Merit Scholarship Program and PSAT

Juniors, there is an opportunity for you to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT this Wednesday, October 10th.

The 2018 test is the qualifying test for entry into the National Merit Scholarship Program. To enter the 2020 program, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled as a high school student (traditional or home schooled), progressing normally towards graduation or completion of high school by 2020, and planning to accept admission to college no later than 2020.
  • Be a citizen of the United States; or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident
  • Take the 2018 PSAT in the third year of your high school program (11th grade)

The cost to sign up is $17.00 and there are only a few slots left.

This program will award students with 8700 awards that total 42 million dollars.
