Seniors, these are the scholarships we have been waiting for!  Please take a look at all these amazing scholarships.  These are all due on March 8th.  There will be another round of scholarships due at the end of the month and then again in April.  You can apply for these scholarships at any time so apply for a lot of them and soon! They will also be listed on the front page of the scholarship website under “Tooele County Scholarships.”

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: DESCENDANTS OF MILITARY VETERANS (Seniors)
Application: Disabled American Veterans Scholarship
Deadline: March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Must be a child or a grandchild of a American Military Veterans
-Cumulative 2.5 or higher
-Application, essay and one letter of recommendation
-Must be a senior or junior graduating early from a Tooele County School District High School
-List of leadership
-List of community service
–Award: $500

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: DALTON DONATE 4 LIFE NURSING/MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Dalton Donate For Life Scholarship Application
Deadline:  March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Intend to pursue a career in nursing/medicine.
-Complete all application form information:  certified high school transcript, essay on why you want to pursue a career in nursing/medicine, a list of nursing/medical related classes you have taken or other nursing/medical related experience you have received, a letter of recommendation.
-Be willing to maintain contact with the Foundation, provide follow-up information and provide a written report on the use of the scholarship funds and progress you have made in advancing your education.
Award:  $500 (3 awards minimum)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: ARTHUR W. BROTHERS COMMUNICATIONS/TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Arthur Brothers Scholarship Application
Deadline: March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
-Application,  list of community service projects, leadership opportunities and one letter of recommendation.
-Scholarship to be used within the academic year following high school graduation.
-Senior graduation from a Tooele County School
-Write an essay about why you would like to pursue a career in communications and/or communications technology
Award: One $1000 award and two $500 awards

*For students planning to further their education in the Health Sciences*

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: “STEP IT UP” SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Step It Up Scholarship Application
Deadline: March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Students who wish to pursue an education in Health Sciences
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
-Application, essay, one letter of recommendation.
Award: $1,000

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION – STUDENTS IN ACTION AMERICAN WARRIORS (seniors)
Application: Students in Action Scholarship Application
Deadline: March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Must be a Tooele School district senior graduating in May 2019
-Minimum 2.5 GPA
-List of community service projects
-List of leadership opportunities that have helped you grow
-Letter of recommendation
-Essay, not to exceed 800 words
Award: $500

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: PATRICK H. DUNLAVY LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Patrick Dunlavy Scholarship
Deadline:  March 8, 2019
Criteria:
-Tooele high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Application, essay on service experiences and why you believe strongly in service
-Letter of recommendation
-List of community service projects
-List of leadership opportunities
Award:  $1,500 (or 3 scholarships at $500 each)
