Seniors, Tooele high school has been given two $1,000 scholarships for students involved in business or music.  We have also been given a $500 scholarship to someone that has overcome adversity or is still in that process.  Turn your applications into Mrs. Dangerfield today!

A.L. ENGLAND BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP FOR TOOELE HIGH SCHOOL (Seniors)
Application: AL England Business 2019 or from Mrs. Dangerfield in the Counseling Office
Deadline:  April 23, 2019
Criteria:
-Applicants post-high school plans include a profession in business.
-Applicant is involved in one of the following activities–teacher assistant in a school office, working internship, or work-based learning in a business.
-Applicant’s high school classes include an emphasis in business courses or an emphasis in the A+ Certification program.
-Applicant has received awards or recognition in business.
-Applicant is a positive role model.
-Application, resume, transcript, essay.
Award:  $1,000

A.L. ENGLAND MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR TOOELE HIGH SCHOOL (Seniors)
Application: A.L. England Music Scholarship 2019 or from Mrs. Dangerfield in the Counseling Office
Deadline: April 23, 2019
Criteria:
-Applicant has been in a music program all four years of high school.
-Applicant performs in Tooele High School music program contests each year.
-Applicant has received awards for musical accomplishments that are not related to an ancillary role such as flag carrier.
-Applicant is actively involved in their community, school, or volunteers on a regular basis.
-Applicant is faithful in participation, support and effort in a music program.
-Applicant provides voluntary help beyond the required classroom/performance time.
-Applicant mentors other music students.
-Applicant is a positive role model.
-Applicant shows continuing improvement each year while in a music program.
-Applicant is not necessarily a top musician, but has the potential to become an accomplished musician.

MILNE SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Milne Scholarship 2019
Deadline: April 23, 2019
Criteria:
-Senior at Tooele High School
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Accepted to a post-secondary institution either college or technical school
-Overcome or still coping with adversity
-Plan to work while completing a post-secondary education
Award: $500
