Seniors, I hope you are doing well and staying safe. You have one more day to submit the Tooele Education Foundation Scholarships. They are all done online. Each one does require a transcript, so go ahead and download the “unofficial transcript” for the application. You can download this from SIS. If you cannot figure out how to do this, email me or call the Counseling Office for questions or help.

AMERICAN WARRIORS STUDENTS IN ACTION SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Minimum 2.5 GPA.
-Application, essay, one letter of recommendation.
-List of leadership and community service
Award: $1,000 (four awards)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: “STEP IT UP” SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Students who wish to pursue an education in Health Sciences
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
-Application, essay, one letter of recommendation.
Award: $1,000

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: BARRICK MERCUR SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Deadline:  March 20, 2020
Criteria:
-Must be a 2020 graduate of Blue Peak THS, SHS, or GHS.
-GPA of 2.5 or higher
-List of service, leadership, and extra-curricular activities and experiences you have participated in at school and in the community, particularly as they relate to your chosen academic/career goals.
-Write and submit and essay following the prompt provided. Not to exceed 800 words
-Letter of recommendation
– Scholarship must be used within the academic year following high school graduation. Scholarship recipients may submit a request for a deferral.
Award:  $500-$1,000 (multiple awards)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION:  “GO LOCAL” TOOELE KIWANIS SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Be sure you are complying with all those requirements of Tooele Tech or USU
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
-Application, essay, one letter of recommendation.
Award:  $500 (two awards)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: DALTON DONATE 4 LIFE NURSING/MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Intend to pursue a career in nursing/medicine.
-Complete all application form information:  certified high school transcript, essay on why you want to pursue a career in nursing/medicine, a list of nursing/medical related classes you have taken or other nursing/medical related experience you have received, a letter of recommendation.
Award:  $500 (6 awards)

-Willing to maintain contact with the Foundation to provide follow-up information and report on the use of the scholarship funds and progress you have made in advancing your education.
