Junior boys and girls interested in attending Girls State or Boys State at Weber State University should see Mrs. Dangerfield in the Counseling Office ASAP. Both with be online this year, and fees are discounted because there will be no in person offerings. However, you will still received 3 Political Science credits for attending.
Girls will need to sign up for an interview time with Mrs. Dangerfield and boys will need to sign up on the website and arrange a time to interview with the Tooele American Legion.
Don’t know what Girls or Boys State is? It is a week long program educating young people about your duties, priveleges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. This is a great leadership opportunity for those interested in applying for scholarships during their senior year.
