Seniors, here are a few scholarships that you may want to apply for since these deadlines are soon. Don’t forget about the Tooele Education Foundation Scholarships due on March 19th. You will need a letter of recommendation, transcripts (you can upload from SIS) and an essay. Good luck!

WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY RICHARDS INSTITUTE ETHICS SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Richard Richards Ethics Scholarship Application
Deadline:  March 5, 2021
Criteria:
-High school senior.
-Official high school transcript including current GPA and ACT scores.
-Verification of high school graduation date by high school administrator. (letter from counselor)
-Letter of recommendation
-Submission of a 500 word ethics essay.  Essay submissions should be double spaced, titled, have your name and high school, and accompany your application.
-Must have plans to attend Weber State University
Award:  $1,000

UTAH PUBLIC EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Deadline:  March 10, 2021
Criteria:
-Full-time undergraduate or half-time graduate student who is a spouse/dependent child/legal ward* of a full-time employee of the state of Utah or one of its political subdivisions (i.e. county, municipality, special services district or higher education institution). This individual agrees to serve as sponsor.
-Sponsor is a Utah Public Employees’ Association member.
-Sponsor is a Mountain America Credit Union member.
-Currently enrolled or accepted for study during Fall 2018 quarter/semester at an accredited two or four year college or university.
-Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 (B) during the most recent three scholastic reporting periods.
Award:  $1,000 (3 awards)

CANCER UNWRAPPED WRITING CONTEST (grades 9-12)

-Students in grades 9-12
-U.S. citizen
-Essay must be between 500-1000 words
Award: Several $1,000 prizes

MEN’S and WOMEN’S ITALIAN AMERICAN CIVIC LEAGUE (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Outstanding graduating high school senior of Italian ancestry (at least one of the student’s parents must be of Italian ancestry).
-Application, essay.
Award:  $1,000 (1 award)
