Only Four Days to Complete the First Round of the Tooele Education Foundation Scholarships

Here is the list of all the Tooele Education Foundation Scholarships that are due on February 18th. Don’t forget to apply!

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: MAYOR DEBBIE WINN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Mayor Debbie Winn Leadership Scholarship Application
Deadline:  February 18, 2022
Criteria:

-Complete and submit the master application form.
-Seniors living in Tooele City may apply.
-GPA of 3.0 or higher (certified transcript including ACT scores is required)
-Essay
-List of leadership experiences.
-List of community service projects.
Award:  $1,500 (or 3 scholarships at $500 each)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION:  “GO LOCAL” TOOELE KIWANIS SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Kiwanis Go Local Scholarship Application
Deadline:  February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Complete and submit the application form.
-Senior students from any Tooele County School District High Schools
-Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher (certified transcript required)
-Essay – not to exceed 800 words using the prompt provided
-Applicants must be planning to attend the Tooele Technical College or USU in Tooele.
Award:  One $500 award and one $1,000 award

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: TOOELE VALLEY ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Rotary Club Service Above Self Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Complete and submit the application form.
-Senior students graduating from any Tooele County School District high school may apply.
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher during high school (certified transcripts required)
-Essay – not to exceed 800 words using the prompt provided.
Award: $500

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: ARTHUR W. BROTHERS COMMUNICATIONS/TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Arthur Brothers Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Complete and submit the master application.
-GPA of 2.5 or higher (certified transcript required).
-Essay, not to exceed 800 words.
-List of community service projects with which you have been involved.
-List of leadership opportunities that have helped you grow.
Award: One $1,000 award and two $500 awards

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: DETROIT DIESEL SKILLED TRADE AND STEM SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)Application: Detroit Diesel Scholarship Application
Deadline:  February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Senior or junior graduating early from Tooele, Stansbury, or Grantsville High school.
-Essay, not to exceed 800 words. “Why I want to work in a Skilled Trades or STEM field.”
-List of community service projects that you have been involved with
-List and describe your leadership experience
Award:  $1,000 (6 awards)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: PURPLE INNOVATION SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Purple Innovation Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Complete and submit the application packet.
-GPA of 3.0 or higher (certified transcript required).
-Essay – not to exceed 800 words.
-List of experiences you have participated in at school and in the community, particularly as they relate to your chosen career path.
Award: $1,500 (three awards)

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: PURPLE PATHWAY SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Purple Pathway Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 18, 2022
Criteria:
-Complete and submit all information on the application form.
-Students graduating from Tooele County School District may apply.
-Scholarship is to be used only at Tooele Technical College.
-GPA of 2.5 or higher (certified transcript required)
-Essay – not to exceed 800 words using the prompt provided.
-List of experiences you have participated in at school and in the community, particularly as they relate to your chosen career path.
Award: $500 (ten total awards) Tooele Tech will match this scholarship totaling $1,000.

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: HAUNTED ACRES OF ERDA FFA SCHOLARSHIP
Application: Haunted Acres of Erda FFA Scholarship
Deadline: February 18, 2022
Criteria:

-Complete all application form information.
-Seniors, or juniors graduating early, from any Tooele County School District high school
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during your high school career (certified transcript including your ACT score)
-Demonstrate participation and membership in the FFA.
-Essay not to exceed 800 words using the prompt provided.
-Participation in extra-curricular activities: Examples include, but are not limited to service programs, leadership activities, clubs, athletic teams, and civic engagement. Be sure to highlight any leadership roles in your extra-curricular activities.
Award:
 $1,000
