-Open to 2023 high school graduates enrolled in college or vocational school
-Make a 45-60 second video about the representation of the American flag to your generation. (don’t use this video for political activism)

-High school seniors with GPA over 3.0
-Write an essay about your educational goals and heavy metal music

HAA CAREER & TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIPS (Seniors)
Application: Horatio Alger Association Career and Technical Scholarship Application
Deadline: June 15, 2023
Criteria:
-Must be a graduating senior enrolled in a certificate or an associate degree program that will lead to employment
-Must demonstrate financial need: family income of $55,000 or less, OR Pell eligibility
Award: $2,500 (500 awards)
ONE EARTH YOUNG FILMMAKERS CONTEST
Application: One Earth Young Filmmakers Scholarship Application
Deadline: June 25, 2023
Criteria:
-Anyone from grades 3 up to age 25 can enter
-Create and submit a film between 3-8 minutes on either of the following topics: climate, energy, food, transportation, waste, water, wildlife and ecosystems
Award: $350 cash prize and $350 matching grant (grades 9,10,11) $1000 scholarship and $1000 matching grant (seniors and college students)
DASHANNA K MCNEIL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

-Write an essay on why you want to be a nurse and if there’s a specific area of nursing you would like to pursue
