SUSSLE SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Deadline:  Monthly awards

Criteria:
-Contribute content by topic to Sussle.
-Large variety of topics, for example:  fashion, Disney Princess, Oreo. Harry Potter, ice cream, Doctor Who, Spanish language, Innovation…and many other fun and current topics.
Award:  Up to $1,000; other lesser cash awards

GE REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Deadline: January 5, 2023
Criteria:
-Demonstrate at school, work, and the community attributes of leadership, drive integrity, and citizenship.
-Demonstrate strong academic performance (3.0 GPA)
-Be a citizen
-Be a current high school senior
-Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program for the Fall of 2021
Award: $10,000 renewable for 4 years

FFA SCHOLARSHIPS

Deadline: January 12, 2023
Criteria:
-Be a current FFA member unless otherwise stated (some do not require this)
-Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
-Plan to attend a post-secondary high school
-Be a high school senior
**There are many different scholarships, but you only need to fill out one application**
Award: $500 up to $5,000

JOHN F. KENNEDY LIBRARY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (9-12th grade)

Deadline: January 13, 2023
Criteria:
-High school students in grades nine through twelve
-Past winners and finalists are not eligible to participate
-Write an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage.
Award: First place: $10,000 Second place: $3,000 Five Finalists: $1,000
Eight semifinalists: $100

CTE SCHOLARSHIPS AND TUITION AWARDS (Seniors)

Deadline:  January 27, 2023

Criteria:
-Graduating high school senior.
-Planning to attend a postsecondary institution in a CTE program that is a two-year Associate Degree program or less or planning to teach in a CTE area (a four-year program).
-Must be a CTE student.
-Must have a valid Career and Technical Education occupational goal.
-Make sure the CTE program he/she wants to take is actually offered and the institution he/she wants to attend.
-Immediate employment after completing the training is a requirement for all potential award recipients.
-Must be lawfully present in the U.S.
-Must be a Utah resident.
-Student may accept other private scholarships, but cannot accept this and another scholarship from the same college or university.
-Several colleges and universities also require a 3.0 cumulative GPA .
Award:  Varies (over 100 scholarships offered)

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION SCHOLARSHIPS
Application: DAR scholarship
Deadline: January 31, 2023
Criteria:
-Must be an enrolled high school student 9-12 grade
– Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships.
Award: Many awards, amount varies

LATINOS IN ACTION SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION
Application: LIA Scholarship Application
Deadline: January 31, 2023
Criteria:
-Must be a graduating high school senior currently enrolled in an LIA class.
-Submit a personal essay as a pdf file. Your essay must be a maximum of two pages, double spaced, using size 12 font with 1” (one inch) margins.
-Submit a letter of recommendation as a pdf file.
-Your cumulative GPA, included in the scholarship form submission.
