SUSSLE SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Contribute content by topic to Sussle.
-Large variety of topics, for example:  fashion, Disney Princess, Oreo. Harry Potter, ice cream, Doctor Who, Spanish language, Innovation…and many other fun and current topics.
Award:  Up to $1,000; other lesser cash awards

AMERICAN FIRE SPRINKLER ESSAY (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Must be a U.S. citizen
-Applicants are put into a random drawing
Award:  $2,000 (10 nationally)

GE REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Deadline: January 4, 2019
Criteria:
-Demonstrate at school, work and the community attributes of leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship.
-Demonstrate strong academic performance (3.0 GPA)
-Be a citizen
-Be a current high school senior
-Plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate program for the Fall of 2019
Award: $10,000 renewable for 4 years

DRIVE SMART, NO DISTRACTIONS, NO EXCUSES, TEEN DIGITAL SHORT CONTEST (ages 13-18)

Deadline: January 6, 2019
Eligibility: 
-U.S. citizen or legal resident
-Student age 13-18
The entry must be a digital short that is at least 15 seconds but no longer than 60 seconds in length.  The video must try to convince teens about the dangers of distracted driving and the importance of not texting and driving.
Award: up to $10,000

JOHN F. KENNEDY LIBRARY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Application: JFKLibrary.org/essaycontest
Deadline: January 18, 2019
Criteria:
-High school students in grades nine through twelve
-Past winners and finalist are not eligible to participate
-Write an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage.
Award: First place: $10,000 Second place: $3,000 Five Finalists: $1,000
Eight semifinalists: $100
