UTAH TECH ‘BLAZER BLAST EXPERIENCE

By attending ‘Blazer Blast, you’ll get a chance to experience what it’s like to be a student at Utah Tech University. You’ll also get to meet and make friends with other students looking to attend Utah Tech. It’s an awesome weekend filled with fun activities, interactive presentations, food, and more!

RED RIOT OVERNIGHT!

Date: March 31-April 1st, 2023

This is a great way for any high school student to experience Southern Utah University as you spend the weekend with one of our student Ambassadors! For only $20, each Red Riot Overnight includes the following:

  • Tour of campus
  • Meals (Friday evening & Saturday morning)
  • Overnight accommodations
  • Tickets to SUU events
  • Information about classes
  • T-shirt to remember the event
  • Scholarship advising & much more

Parents are invited to attend a customized parent information session and campus tour on Friday of the Overnight. No lodging arrangements can be made for parents in University Housing. Discounts for local hotels can be found at Parent Services.

A-DAY AT USU LOGAN (Admitted Student Day)

March 24th-Registration opens in January

Register by March 15, 2023

Enjoy lunch on us and top it off with famous Aggie Ice Cream. After this day, you’ll be excited to say, “I’m an Aggie!” This event is held on our Logan (Main) campus. For this reason, the day’s events and information mainly pertain to students who will be attending the Logan campus. If you plan to attend another USU campus, you are still welcome to attend and we’d love to see you.

JUNIOR PREVIEW DAY

Junior Preview Day will give you an opportunity to find out more about life as an Aggie. Get a jump on finding out more about Utah State’s admissions process and scholarships. Learn about USU majors, student life, and what it means to be an Aggie.

PURPLE CARPET EVENT FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

March 3, 2023

This event is for any and all prospective students to explore the Weber State campus on a tour and learn about their majors and student services. Information sessions include topics from how to pay for college and defer admissions and scholarships, to on-campus housing options and academic exploration.

UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT

March 14, 2023 in the USU Tooele Science and Technology Building Multipurpose Room

This event is for all Utah State University Admits for 2023 from Tooele County and their parent/guardians. Students interested in attending USU are welcome as well.

Jessica Prettyman from the USU scholarship office will present how to apply for several non-admissions scholarships from USU and a variety of third-party scholarships hosted on the Scholarship Universe portal. USU’s local admissions specialist, Mike Booth, will be on hand to answer any questions on admissions as well.
