-Minimum 20 ACT or 980 SAT

SOUTH HIGH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Available to any direct descendant (parent, grandparent) of a South High School alumni who wishes to attend SLCC
-Intend to register for at least 9 credit hours
-Have at least a 2.5 GPA
-Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident and a resident of Utah
Award: Half tuition to SLCC for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 (renewable for second year if student meets the requirements)

UTAH SCHOLARS 2019 (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Earn a total of 200 points during grades 8-12. 75 points will come from the three requirements of 1) completing the the Utah Scholars Application, 2) taking 4 years of math, and 3) submitting at least 1 college application your senior year. The remaining points will come from a variety of other tasks (taking concurrent or AP, visiting a college campus, and learning about paying for college options, etc.)
Award: Medallion and recognition at THS Scholarship Night.

2019 YOUTHLINC YOUNG HUMANITARIAN AWARD (Seniors and Juniors)

-Applicants must be a Junior or Senior in a Utah high school.

Criteria:
-The Governor’s Honors Academy was founded in 1988 through a vision of Utah corporate and political leaders. The Academy is organized to provide Utah high school students with an opportunity to learn, lead and interact with some of the foremost leaders in business, technology, humanities, science, education, communication and social science. Through interaction with leaders and mentors, students enhance their desire to learn and strive for excellence.
-3.75 GPA
-ACT score is not required but it is recommended
-Cost:  $1,100, Participants are given information on seeking sponsors to help cover the cost of attendance.  (covers all expenses except travel to the GHA and spending money)
Award:  6 college credits and a 4-year scholarship to SUU! (50 state-wide)

-Full-time undergraduate or half-time graduate student who is a spouse/dependent child/legal ward* of a full-time employee of the state of Utah or one of its political subdivisions (i.e. county, municipality, special services district or higher education institution). -Sponsor is a Mountain America Credit Union member.

DOODLE FOR GOOGLE SCHOLARSHIP (grades K-12)

-Artists create their doodles using whatever materials they want.
-Write an artist statement about what you have drawn and how it represents something that inspires you.
-Fill out the required form and sign it.
-High school students will be judged with other students from grades 10-12

-You must currently be a high school senior (home schooled is okay) in the United States, graduating in the spring of 2019.
-You will be attending an accredited university, college or community college in 2019.
-We are asking each applicant to simply write an essay, up to 500 words, explaining to us how you are advocating against the dangers of drinking and driving. Convince us in 500 words that you are actively making your friends, family, community, and our roads a safer place.
-In addition to the essay, you will be asked to complete a profile page that includes an About Me section. Together, your essay and your profile page will be your contest entry submission.

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND 2018 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (Seniors)

Criteria:
-Must be legally blind in both eyes.
-Must be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
