DOODLE FOR GOOGLE SCHOLARSHIP (grades K-12)

-Artists create their doodles using whatever materials they want.
-Write an artist statement about what you have drawn and how it represents something that inspires you.
-Fill out the required form and sign it.
-High school students will be judged with other students from grades 10-12

SUSAN W. CODA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (Senior girls)

THE AMERICAN LEGION:  EAGLE SCOUT OF THE YEAR (ages 15-18)

-Must be a registered, active member of a Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, or Venturing Crew chartered to an American Legion post, American Legion Auxiliary unit or Sons of The American
Legion squadron.
OR
-Must be a registered, active member of a chartered Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, or Venturing Crew, and the son or grandson of a Legionnaire or Auxiliary member.
AND
-Received the Eagle Scout Award.
-Be an active member of his religious institution and must have received the appropriate Boy Scout religious emblem.
-Have demonstrated practical citizenship in church, school, Scouting, and community.
-Have reached his 15th birthday and be enrolled in high school at the time of selection.

GOVERNOR’S HONORS ACADEMY at Southern Utah University (Juniors)

-The Governor’s Honors Academy was founded in 1988 through a vision of Utah corporate and political leaders. The Academy is organized to provide Utah high school students with an opportunity to learn, lead and interact with some of the foremost leaders in business, technology, humanities, science, education, communication and social science. Through interaction with leaders and mentors, students enhance their desire to learn and strive for excellence.
-3.75 GPA
-ACT score is not required but it is recommended
-Cost:  $1,100, Participants are given information on seeking sponsors to help cover the cost of attendance.  (covers all expenses except travel to the GHA and spending money)
Award:  6 college credits and a 4-year scholarship to SUU! (50 state-wide)

WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY RICHARDS INSTITUTE ETHICS SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

-Full-time undergraduate or half-time graduate student who is a spouse/dependent child/legal ward* of a full-time employee of the state of Utah or one of its political subdivisions (i.e. county, municipality, special services district or higher education institution). -Sponsor is a Utah Public Employees’ Association member.
-Sponsor is a Mountain America Credit Union member.
-Currently enrolled or accepted for study during Fall 2018 quarter/semester at an accredited two or four-year college or university.

-Available to any direct descendant (parent, grandparent) of a South High School alumni who wish to attend SLCC
-Intend to register for at least 9 credit hours
-Have at least a 2.5 GPA

-Be enrolled full-time as a high school junior in the United States, progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2023 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation.
-Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution).
-Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.
-Co-curricular/community service activities.
-Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
-Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required).
-Be a United States citizen.

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND 2021 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (Seniors)

-Must be legally blind in both eyes.
-Must be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
-Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, postsecondary course of study in a degree program at a United States institution in the 2021 scholastic year, except that one scholarship may be given to a person employed full-time while attending school part-time.
-Must participate in the entire NFB national convention and in all of its scheduled scholarship program activities.
