Horatio Alger Scholarship – Tooele High Scholarships

We had a students in 2018 win the $25,000 award. All you have to do is apply and you could win some much needed money for college!

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
NATIONAL and STATE (Two separate applications)

Deadline:  Oct. 25, 2020 by 5:00 PM Eastern Time
Criteria:
-Be enrolled full-time as a high school senior in the United States, progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2021 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation.
-Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution).
-Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.
-Co-curricular/community service activities.
-Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
-Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required).
-Be a United States citizen.
-Utah scholarship requires Utah citizenship.
–Award:  National – $25,000 (106 awards)
State – $10,000 (7 awards)

A.L. England Scholarships Deadline Extended

Hey music and business enthusiasts! The scholarship committee for the A.L. England Business and Music Scholarship decided to extend their deadline to Monday April 27th. If you were unable to get your application in, please get this to me by Monday. You can email it to me, or bring it into the school.

Any high school senior can apply for this scholarship, you do not need to be LDS or attend BYU to win this scholarship. Apply today!

BYU MANAGEMENT SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIPS (Seniors)
Application: Apply for BYU Management Society Scholarship
Deadline:  April 26, 2020
Criteria:
-Must be a high school senior and resident in Salt Lake, Davis, or Tooele County.
-Must show recent community or religious service activity.
-Must demonstrate financial need.
-Must be planning to attend an accredited college or university, including trade/technical schools, within the state of Utah or an LDS Church college on a full-time basis.
-Do NOT need to be a BYU student or LDS.
-This scholarship may be deferred for religious or military service.
Award:  $1,000-$3,000 (depending on need and merit)

Doodle for Google Scholarship Contest Deadline March 13th

DOODLE FOR GOOGLE SCHOLARSHIP (grades K-12)
Application: Doodle for Google Application
Deadline: March 13, 2020
Criteria:
-Artists create their doodles using whatever materials they want.
-Write an artist statement about what you have drawn and how it represents something that inspires you.
-Fill out the required form and sign it.
-High school students will be judged with other students from grades 10-12
-U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident
Award: 53 total prizes. Prizes range from $5,000 up to $30,000
