Anyone Can Apply for the BYU Management Society Scholarship!

Any senior can apply for this scholarship. You do NOT have to have plans to attend any BYU school. The BYU Management Society is giving away scholarships between $1,000 and $3,000 based on the following:

  • Financial need
  • Academic excellence
  • Leadership
  • Community service

You can select which scholarship you are applying for; community service or financial need.

The eligibility is as follows:

  • Planning to attend a college, university or trade school for Fall of 2020
  • Must show recent community service or religious service activity
  • Must be a high school senior

Deadline: April 26, 2020

Scholarships can be deferred for religious or military service.

Today is the Final Deadline for the Regent’s Scholarship

Seniors, if you have not completed your Regent’s application, today is the final day! You will need an official copy of your transcript that has to be postmarked by today or they will NOT accept it. You can get a copy of this from Mrs. Bishop in the Couseling Office. Make sure you have completed your FAFSA as well.

 REGENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application Regents’ Application
Deadline:  Dec. 6, 2019(Priority Deadline), February 3, 2020 (Regular Deadline)
Criteria:
-Take the required classes in grades 9-12
-Four credits of English
-Four credits of Math (at least one must be selected from the advanced course list)
-Three credits of Social Science
-Three credits of lab-based Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
-Two credits of the same World Language
-Earn at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA
-Earn at least a 22 on the ACT
-Apply for the FAFSA
-Meet college enrollment or deferment requirements
Award: Award amounts vary and may be renewable up to four semesters

Regents’ Final Deadline One Week Away

The Regents scholarship deadline is quickly approaching! Remember, you have until Monday, February 3rd to complete your application. This also means you must have your school and/or college transcripts postmarked by Monday, February 3rd. Don’t miss out on this non-competitive scholarship. If you qualify and complete everything, then you get the money for school.

Tooele County Scholarships Marathon Day 6

Senior students with a 2.5 or higher are encouraged to apply. Two $500 awards and one $1,000 award will be given away to Tooele County high school students.

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: ARTHUR W. BROTHERS COMMUNICATIONS/TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Arthur Brothers Scholarship Application
Deadline: February 21, 2020
Criteria:
-Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
-Application,  list of community service projects, leadership opportunities and one letter of recommendation.
-Scholarship to be used within the academic year following high school graduation.
-Senior graduation from a Tooele County School
-Write an essay about why you would like to pursue a career in communications and/or communications technology
Award: One $1000 award and two $500 awards
