The Barrick Mercur scholarship is a great scholarship especially for those that may not have received many scholarships yet.  The Richard K. Memorial scholarship is an award that does not require any particular major or field of study; anyone can apply.  The THS Alumni scholarship is only awarded to THS students.  They give away two $1,000 scholarships.  Come see me if you need help applying!

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION: BARRICK MERCUR SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)
Application: Barrick Scholarship Application
Deadline:  April 12, 2019
Criteria:
-Must be a 2019 graduate of Blue Peak THS, SHS, or GHS.
-GPA of 2.5 or higher
-List of service, leadership, and extra-curricular activities and experiences you have participated in at school and in the community, particularly as they relate to your chosen academic/career goals.
-Write and submit and essay following the prompt provided. Not to exceed 800 words
-Letter of recommendation
– Scholarship must be used within the academic year following high school graduation. Scholarship recipients may submit a request for a deferral.
Award:  $500-$1,000 (multiple awards)

Criteria:
-Seniors or juniors graduating early
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0
-List of extra-curricular activities
-Letter of recommendation, essay and transcript with ACT scores
Award: $500 (two awards)

THS ALUMNI FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Deadline: April 12, 2019
Criteria:
-Seniors who are graduating from THS in 2019.
-Plan to attend college.
-Have not received significant scholarships from other sources.
-This scholarship cannot be deferred.
-Application, transcript, and optional additional information.
Award: $1,000 dollars (two awards)
